Dodge Charger Safety Features

Dodge originally introduced the Charger as a show car in 1964. It continues as a highly-regarded fixture in the muscle car market. In fact, it’s the only 4-door sedan vehicle available in that category. Included among the Charger’s safety features is the braking system.

When the Advanced Brake Assist is notified that more braking force is required, it’s activated to help prevent a collision. It’s alerted when you quickly remove your foot from the accelerator, for example. Another braking feature is the Rain Brake Support that is signaled when you turn the windshield wipers on. The purpose of this feature is to help keep the brake pads dry by adding a small amount of pressure to the calipers.
